A Message about Laurie Rubidge

This is just a quick note to let all of you know that, before I post Laurie's expose, it looks like I owe her an apology. She has been quoted recently as saying it isn't fair that I should talk bad about her, as in her words, she was "Loyal to the end." Well, in a way she is correct.

On the conference call when I notified thousands of you that I had decided to close the company and that I would have something new in 90 days, I suggested you could work with ACN temporarily under Laurie. But, when I asked her to schedule the conference call to launch my new company, she said, "Fuck you, they're mine now!" Laurie obviously convinced herself she could retire off those of you who followed my advice to work ACN if you stayed there. Unfortunately, she apparently forgot the "temporary" part. Making it worse, it must have been a very eye-opening experience for those of you who were present for her inaugural event when she repeated the same success story she had recited for years of being an unemployed bartender and being rescued by her mentor, only to have her exchange my name for someone else's! I have said many times not to underestimate the power of stupidity, but for the first time in history I think Laurie actually overrated it!

Anyway, I do want to apologize and thank Laurie for being "Loyal to the end." I just need to remind her that it was her short-sighted, greedy and stupid attempt to steal my people that was the end! So basically, I guess what she is trying to say is that she was loyal until she misrepresented me and my intentions to thousands of you, tried to steal you and force you to stay in her group so she could make the profits! Hey Laurie, why don't you forward me a copy of your latest ACN check? That way all these fine folks will see how much you didn't learn from me and how well your retirement plan worked out!

J. R. 2/5/08 9:03pm In January of 1999, Laurie asked me to move to Clearwater to work with her. When I did, she was working with a couple that had money and influence in the area. This was a couple who bought a $20,000 order, told everyone how wonderful they were and did all the briefings and trainings in the office. This was the couple who headlined the destruction of Equinox in Florida, because when they couldn't make a check their 2nd month, they sued the company for being a scam. Laurie asked me to work for her personally, and when I said I will do anything I can, she asked me, "How do I know you won't go thru my applications and order forms?" I said, "I don't even know what you're talking about. Why would I do that?" She replied, "That's why I can't trust you." To this day I have never been able to make sense of that conversation. I also would like to see her most recent ACN check.
